Greg McElroy dropped his weekly list of the top WarDaddies – the top individual performers – from Week 12 Wednesday afternoon.
A pair of SEC quarterbacks cracked the 5-player list: LSU’s Jayden Daniels and Georgia’s Carson Beck. The duo is joined by Oregon QB Bo Nix, Washington State DE Ron Stone and Texas DL Byron Murphy.

Daniels needs no introduction. The Heisman frontrunner per multiple sportsbooks with 46 total touchdowns on the season, 36 passing and 10 rushing. It’s just Georgia State, but Daniels posted an unreal 8 touchdowns by himself last Saturday. That warrants a No. 1 WarDaddies post, we’ll say.
Beck hasn’t garnered nearly as much buzz despite leading the country’s No. 1 team, but he’s been stout as of late especially. Beck threw for 300 yards and 3 touchdowns during Georgia’s dominant win over Tennessee at Neyland Stadium. He completed 24 of his 30 passes on the day, an average of 10 yards downfield.
