Danny Stutsman is reportedly heading to the NFL Draft as Oklahoma loses its top tackler, per SoonerScoop.

Stutsman led Oklahoma with 99 total tackles this year. He also accounted for 16 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, and 1 interception that he returned for a touchdown.

The Oklahoma linebacker played in 34 games for the Sooners over his 3-season career, departing ahead of his alma mater’s move to the SEC.

Brent Venables has an impressive 2024 class on the way for his 1st season in the SEC. Oklahoma has a verbal commitment from 1 true LB and 3-star commit named James Nesta.

Venables led the Sooners to a 10-win regular season, but fell just short of reaching the Big 12 title game. The Sooners would have had a rematch with Texas if they made it.

It could be hard for Oklahoma to make up for Stutsman’s production on the field. The Sooners play Arizona in the Alamo Bowl to close out the year.
