Eli Manning does not get involved in many beefs, but he showed this past weekend that he knows how to drop a mean punchline.

In addition to coaching the AFC in the Pro Bowl games, Manning took part in a freestyle rap battle with Supahotfire. While he’s probably not quite ready to face Eminem on wax, Manning got quite the reaction for his savage line directed at his old rival, Tom Brady.

“I’m Eli Manning. I’m nice,” the former quarterback rapped. “Tom Brady’s the GOAT? Sike! I beat him twice!”

While Brady has widely recognized GOAT status for his numerous NFL records, Manning will always have head-to-head in The Big Game.

The first Manning-Brady Super Bowl was XLII in February 2008. Manning’s Giants spoiled Brady and the Patriots’ potential perfect season. The famous helmet catch play helped New York, a 12-point underdog, score a late touchdown to come away with a 17-14 upset victory. Manning was the game’s MVP, going 19-of-34 passing for 255 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception.

Four years later, it was Manning-Brady round two in Super Bowl XLVI. The Patriots were again favored, but Manning won Super Bowl MVP a second time. Manning was 30-of-40 for 296 yards and 1 touchdown in the game as New York managed a 21-17 victory by scoring the final 6 points in the 4th quarter on an uncontested touchdown run.

Super Bowl LVIII is set for Sunday as the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs meet in Las Vegas (6:30 p.m. ET, CBS). Kansas City has been a Super Bowl fixture in regular years, with star quarterback Patrick Mahomes drawing some Brady comparisons with the chance to pick up a third ring. The 49ers, however, are currently favored.
