In recent years, it’s been every high school prospect’s goal to garner an invite to the prestigious ‘The Opening’ camp in Beaverton, Ore.

It’s an event bringing together the best athletes in the country for a series of testing, competitions, and state-of-the-art experiences.

Each major city hold combines. The most impressive players from these showcases will earn the right to travel to Oregon for this honor.

On Sunday, 12 players were announced as invitees. They hailed from the Orlando regional:

Of the 12, multiple players are considering SEC schools — including Joshua Moore, Reuben Unije, Elijah Moore, Tyreke Johnson, Brian Hightower, Brendan Radley-Hiles, Amari Burney, and Xavier Thomas.

Interestingly enough, Hightower and Radley-Hiles are Los Angeles natives. Thomas is a native of South Carolina.

Though Thomas now attends IMG Academy (along with Hightower and Radley-Hiles), it appears as if he’s essentially narrowed his list down to Clemson and USC. Will Muschamp will do anything (within the rules) to sign Thomas. He’s that good of a prospect.
