The SEC is down to 4 teams in the Super 16, the weekly poll put out by the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) and the National Football Foundation (NFF).

In the Week 5 poll, released Sunday, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky and Arkansas are ranked. Georgia, after shutting out Arkansas, picked up seven first-place votes on Alabama in the Week 5 poll.

A trio of SEC teams dropped out of the Super 16 after suffering losses to conference foes. Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Florida have been replaced by Kentucky, Oklahoma State and Coastal Carolina–all first-time teams in the poll this season.

The Big Ten leads all conferences with 5 teams, followed by the SEC with 4, the Big 12 and Independents with 2 each. The American, Pac-12 and Sun Belt have one team each.
