We still don’t know if the NBA is going to be able to resume its regular season or not amid the COVID-19 global pandemic.

However, as of now, teams are preparing as if the 2020 NBA Draft will still be held as scheduled in June. So, that means there are some mock drafts being released.

As you can see below, in CBS Sports writer Kyle Boone’s latest first-round mock draft, 6 SEC stars are projected to go in Round 1:

  • No. 2 — Anthony Edwards, G, Georgia — Cleveland Cavaliers
  • No. 4 — Isaac Okoro, F, Auburn — Minnesota Timberwolves
  • No. 5 — Tyrese Maxey, G, Kentucky — Atlanta Hawks
  • No. 13 — Aaron Nesmith, F, Vanderbilt — Portland Trail Blazers
  • No. 20 — Kira Lewis Jr., G, Alabama — Milwaukee Bucks
  • No. 30 — Isaiah Joe, G, Arkansas — Boston Celtics

A couple of those guys could still decide to return to school. Additionally, these rankings could change if there’s a way NBA teams can hold combine workouts for players. For now, a lot is up in the air for the 2020 draft class.
