When Air Force travels to rival Navy this season, the Falcons will be decked out in some epic threads.

Air Force revealed in a video that it will be honoring the Doolittle Raid mission with these incredible uniforms for the Oct. 21 contest.

The Doolittle Raid happened on April 18, 1942 and it required the Japanese to recall combat forces for home defense, and provided a spark of optimism for Americans and US allies during World War II. The B-25 medium bomber was the lone aircraft at its disposal with the requisite range, bomb capacity and short takeoff distance.

Air Force leads the all-time series 33-22 with a 3-game winning streak vs. Navy. Air Force edged visiting Navy 13-10 last season. Navy’s last victory in the series dates back to a 34-25 win in Annapolis in 2019.

Air Force is coming off a season in which it posted a 10-3 record and victory vs. Baylor in the Armed Forces Bowl.
