The latest AP Top 25 is out and 6 SEC teams are again included in the latest poll. There are no SEC entries or exits for Week 9, but a wild Week 8 of college football has led to some rankings shakeups.

Georgia is still No. 1. The Bulldogs were off in Week 8, but Michigan’s 49-0 win over Michigan State was not enough to unseat the 2-time defending national champions.

While Georgia leads the SEC East, Alabama sits atop the SEC West. The Crimson Tide extended its win streak to 6 games with the Third Saturday in October victory over Tennessee. UA moved up to No. 9, while UT dropped to No. 21.

The SEC West race will be in the Week 10 spotlight when Alabama and LSU face off. After a blowout win over Army in Week 8, LSU has moved up to No. 15.

Ole Miss is looking to make some noise as a 1-loss team. The Rebels have moved up 1 spot after defeating Auburn.

Mizzou stayed on track in the SEC East race, defeating South Carolina in the other Columbia for the Mayor’s Cup. The Tigers have moved up 4 spots.
