Keon Young is starting to narrow the focus of his recruitment. The blue-chip defensive back from Florida has picked up 30 scholarship offers. He named his top 10 teams on Thursday, showing a strong interest in the SEC.

Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, Mizzou, Tennessee and Texas A&M made the cut for Young’s top 10. He’s also considering Michigan State, Oregon, USF and West Virginia.

Young’s list includes some of his more recent offers. Kentucky, Auburn and Texas A&M entered the mix in January. Florida, Tennessee and Mizzou showed interest during the fall.

Billy Napier’s staff got Young up to Gainesville for a campus visit last month. Many Lakeland Dreadnaughts have gone on to play for the Gators, but Cormani McClain showed the school is not always a UF pipeline.
