Cavin Ridley — no, that name isn’t misspelled — is expected to decide between Alabama and South Carolina for his college destination.

The brother of Calvin Ridley, he’s a four-star receiver in the 2016 class. At 6-foot-2 and 198 pounds, he’s bigger than his older brother, and college recruiters are hoping he blossoms into an SEC star as well.

Prediction: If he chooses the Tide, there will be more than one broadcaster who confuses Calvin and Cavin Ridley.

According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, the younger Ridley is the 32nd-best receiver in the current recruiting class.

Right now, Alabama offensive line coach Mario Cristobal and South Carolina defensive coordinator Travaris Robinson, both well-regarded recruiters with ties to South Florida, are competing for his services.

It doesn’t appear that he’d be opposed to joining his brother in Tuscaloosa, if his Twitter account is any indication. The younger brother is constantly touting his successful sibling’s accomplishments.
