College Football Playoff rankings are officially out! The calendar has flipped to November, and that means we’ve hit CFP rankings season.

There was absolutely no debate entering this year’s rankings about who No. 1 should be when they were released on Tuesday night on ESPN. And, indeed, the Georgia Bulldogs earned that top spot.

There was, however, plenty of debate as to who should be in the 2-6 spots. And, of course, the CFP committee ranks 25 teams, so there are debates lower in the rankings, too.

A total of 7 SEC teams — Georgia, Alabama, Texas A&M, Auburn, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Kentucky — were included in the top 25.
