Former San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick made waves last season when he announced that he would kneel during the national anthem.

Since that time, many players have come out and either showed support or disagreement with the method that Kaepernick chose to highlight the issue of civil rights.

Former Mississippi State and current Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott recently made an appearance with Yahoo! Sports where he was asked if he would participate in the protest. Prescott said he would not participate and believes the issue is bigger than many people think.

Prescott played four seasons with the Bulldogs before heading to the NFL. He is the reigning AP Offensive Rookie of the Year after leading the Cowboys to a 13-3 record and NFC East division title.
