Jamario Holley may have just messed up any shot he had at signing with an SEC program when National Signing Day rolls around in early February.

The 6-foot, 180-pound prospect from Rock Hill, S.C., is currently rated as a three-star prospect and the No. 53 wide receiver in the nation by 247Sports Composite Rankings. According to his 247Sports profile, he has been offered scholarships by South Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky during his high school career at Northwestern High School.

While he may have had the opportunity to pursue one of those offers in the past, Holley may have jeopardized that chance following his reportedly arrest for assault and battery. According to The Herald Online, Holley has been charged on two counts of assault and battery.

According to The Herald’s report, Holley has been identified as one of six who punched and kicked a teenage during a basketball game, as stated in a police report. The six are accused of stomping the teenager in the face.

The charges against Holley are all misdemeanors in South Carolina.
