Tyrell Crosby, a senior OL for Oregon, will take part in an awesome tribute in Saturday’s Las Vegas Bowl.

Crosby and the Ducks put together a strong season after going 4-8 last season. Under coach Willie Taggart, Oregon won seven games and earned a bowl birth for the performance.

Saturday’s game will be the last of Crosby’s collegiate career and is a bit of homecoming of sorts. Crosby is from nearby Henderson, Nevada, and he shared pictures on Friday to indicate that he will wear a special uniform number for the game.

Crosby, who traditionally wears No. 73, will be wearing No. 58 to honor those who lost their lives in the devastating shooting earlier this year in Las Vegas.

“Looking forward to PLAYING my last game wearing a number so significant to the City of Las Vegas. #VegasStrong,” he said in a tweet.

Here is one of the photos of Crosby and the special jersey that he shared:

This is definitely a heartfelt tribute and a great way for Crosby to cap his career in his home state.
