Here’s one bold prediction for every SEC game on Saturday:

South Carolina at Tennessee — If you’ve noticed, the Gamecocks appear to be a much more loose — and most importantly, much improved — football team under the direction of Shawn Elliott. In this matchup last season, South Carolina blew a multi-touchdown lead at home courtesy of Joshua Dobbs to lose in overtime. It’s going to happen again.

Vanderbilt at Florida — Many are expecting Jim McElwain’s team to sleepwalk into this one despite a victory wrapping up an SEC Championship Game berth. I see the opposite. The Gators hold Vanderbilt without a touchdown and win convincingly. Need something a little more bold? Treon Harris hits the 100-yard rushing mark.

Kentucky at Georgia — Can the Bulldogs avoid a disappointing loss at home during a week of complete disarray in Athens? Barely. Wildcats quarterback Patrick Towles throws for 300 yards and a couple scores in a losing cause.

Auburn at Texas A&M — There are few things more bold than picking the outright upset here, but that’s what I’m going with in College Station. Auburn’s due for winning a game in the SEC West and after seeing Texas A&M struggle to stop South Carolina’s rushing attack, that’s not a good sign. Lots of yards. Lots of first downs. And lots of points.

Arkansas at Ole Miss — The Rebels use a stop on fourth-and-goal with less than five minutes to play to win by six. Another bitter pill to swallow for Brandon Allen and the Razorbacks, a team that appears so close. There’s a good chance this game could have the most fourth-quarter drama this week.

LSU at Alabama — There’s no way the relentless hype of both Heisman candidate running backs can live up, can it? You’re looking at the SEC’s best run defenses going head to head and that means both Derrick Henry and Leonard Fournette will be held under 100 yards on the ground. How’s that for a bold prediction?
