The latest College Football Playoff rankings emerged this week, with Alabama, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Clemson rounding out the current top four.

As we near the end of the season, this could change, but you won’t find many people objecting to the current ranking.

Not even the BCS disagrees. Remember the BCS?

It feels like ages ago that we were relying on a computer to tell us who should face off in the National Championship.

Although the potential BCS rankings agree with the top four, several other teams find themselves in a different spot than the College Football Playoff Rankings.

The BCS swapped Clemson and Ohio State, and put Cincinnati on the outside looking in at No. 5, while the Bearcats sit at No. 7 in the CFP. BYU is another program that probably wouldn’t mind going back to the BCS format, as the undefeated Cougars are outside the top ten in the CFP but at No. 8 in the BCS.

You won’t find many people that miss the BCS system, but it is interesting to see what the rankings would be if this college football season was being played seven years ago.
