Fans of Bryce Young and Anthony Richardson are finally getting the opportunity to watch the former SEC quarterbacks on “QB1: Beyond The Lights.” The documentary series that had been shelved for over 3 years has landed a streaming home.

Young, Richardson and Deuce Hogan are the subjects of the 4th season of “QB1.” The show covers the trio of QBs as high school standouts. Season 4 was filmed and edited for a planned release in the spring of 2020, but never saw the light of day at Netflix. It is now available to stream for free on Tubi.

“When you have a project that gets shelved, it feels a little like something’s left undone,” showrunner Rachel Libert told Yahoo Sports. “It kind of nags at you, especially when it’s something you’re proud of. So there’s a certain sense of closure and completion that’s very satisfying as a creator. And then similarly, just being proud of who Bryce, Anthony, and Deuce are as people and proud of the stories that we captured. So there’s also a certain sense of closure and relief that their stories can be shared.”

Season 4 features 10 episodes, with runtimes of over 30 minutes. Episode 10 lasts over 40 minutes.

The show chronicles Young at California powerhouse program Mater Dei. In Episode 1, he is first introduced as being committed to USC. Young flipped his commitment to Alabama on Sept. 22, 2019.

Richardson played for Eastside High School in Gainesville. He was committed to Florida at the start of the season.
