Rece Davis has a way with words and he doesn’t mince any of them when he describes what he believes the emotions of Tennessee fans will be leading into Saturday’s showdown at Neyland Stadium.

“They have broken their hearts, stomped it into little pieces and they shredded it and left them for irrelevant…for 15 years.”

Well geez Rece, since you put it that way.

He also talks about the confidence of Tennessee fans in this year’s Volunteer team. As Davis sees it, the fan base doesn’t believe that Tennessee is a Cinderella story looking to pull an upset — they are just that damn good this year.

“I think they’re are a lot of Tennessee fans who think this is going to be a beatdown.”

Rece Davis and the rest ESPN College Gameday will be in the house to set up the biggest game at Tennessee in the 21st Century. It’s going to be something to watch for sure.
