Tragedy has struck high school football in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Talented 17-year-old senior wide receiver Minnion Jackson was shot and killed following football practice Wednesday, according to multiple reports.

Green Oaks High School ended practice early Wednesday following multiple gunshots heard near the football field. Green Oaks coach Terrence Issac Sr. told KTBS news that Jackson took a teammate home from practice before he was later shot and killed.
