CBS Sports will use its double header availability to put Texas A&M and Alabama in prime time in Week 6 for the previously much-anticipated Oct. 8 game between Jimbo Fisher and Nick Saban. It’s the headliner for the kickoff times and broadcast information released on Monday by the SEC.

The game, which was a prime topic for the college football world over the summer, has lost some luster after the A&M loss to Appalachian State. But it still shapes up to be a noteworthy game in the SEC West.

The noon window will feature a tripleheader of games, which could serve as somewhat of an elimination Saturday for a couple of teams fighting to stay relevant in their division.

The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry will get the 3:30 p.m. “SEC on CBS” treatment as a lead-in to the Aggies and Crimson Tide. Georgia has won 5 straight in the series as Bryan Harsin makes his first trip to Sanford Stadium with his job security in jeopardy.

In the other primetime game, South Carolina and Kentucky will meet in Lexington, as the Cats try to add another win and keep the game against Georgia in play for a possible division crown.
