There were a number of impressive performances by SEC players on both sides of the ball this past Saturday.

On Monday, the conference recognized some of the top performances by awarding Player of the Week accolades to several standouts.

Here are the recipients following Week 2 of the season:

  • Offensive: Kentucky RB Chris Rodriguez Jr. — 27 carries for 206 yards and 2 TDs against Missouri
  • Offensive: Georgia QB Stetson Bennett — 10-of-12 for 288 yards and 5 TDs against UAB
  • Offensive line: Mississippi State OL Charles Cross — 73.6 grade led the Bulldogs against NC State
  • Defensive: Arkansas LB Hayden Harry — Career-high 15 tackles in a win over Colorado
  • Defensive line: Texas A&M DL Jayden Peevy — 7 tackles including 2 for losses against Colorado
  • Special teams: South Carolina PK Parker White – Game-winning 36-yard FG at ECU
  • Special teams: Vanderbilt PK Joseph Bulovas – Game-winning 38-yard FG at Colorado State
  • Freshman: Arkansas PK Cam Little — 4-for-4 on FGs and PATs against Texas
