SEC baseball is expected to have another strong season this year.

The SEC leads the country with 8 teams in Perfect Game’s preseason top 25, followed by 6 from the ACC, and 4 from the Big 12. The Pac-12 has 3 teams in, and other conferences like the American, Big 10, Big West and Sun Belt caught one team each.

Arkansas leads the way at No. 2 behind Wake Forest, while LSU is No. 3 and Florida No. 4, Vanderbilt is at No. 6 and Texas A&M rounds out the SEC representation in the top 10 at No. 7.

Tennessee at No. 11 and South Carolina at No. 13 round out the ranked SEC teams.

The Razorbacks boast returning bats Kendall Diggs and Peyton Stovall along with ace LHP Hagen Smith anchoring the rotation. The defending national champion Tigers will look to make another Omaha run after Paul Skenes and Dylan Crews.

And one of the top players in the country, two-way phenom Jac Caglianone will lead Florida as he pursues another 30-homer season.
