Fans who love strong O-line play should look no further than the SEC for some of the best O-line units in the country.

The Joe Moore Award announced seven units as semi-finalists for the 2017 honor with three of the units coming from SEC schools. The offensive line units of Alabama, Auburn, and Georgia are up for the award. The SEC is also the only conference with multiple units as semi-finalists.

According to the award, the Joe Moore Award is given annually to the Most Outstanding Offensive Line Unit and is the only major college football award to honor a unit.

The award announced the seven semi-finalists on Twitter:

Each of these SEC teams loves to run the ball and has done so effectively this year. The offensive line coaches responsible for each unit are Brent Key (Alabama), Herb Hand (Auburn), and Sam Pittman (Georgia).

Alabama won the inaugural award in 2015 with Iowa capturing the honor in 2016.
