Let’s take a look at how former SEC players stacked up in the NFL this weekend.

OFFENSE

  • WR Julio Jones – The Alabama superstar was at it again. He racked up nine receptions for 160 yards in the Falcons’ 24-21 loss against Detroit. Jones is on pace to beat his season totals of last year. Right now, he has 1,189 yards and six touchdowns. He finished 2014 with 1,593 yards and six TDs.

  • RB Darren McFadden – It looks like the comeback of Tony Romo helps everyone involved in the Cowboys offense. McFadden averaged 4.4 yards a carry and finished with 129 yards on the ground. Before Sunday, McFadden had only two games this season with more than 100 yards rushing.
  • RB Eddy Lacy – The Packers got back on track and Eddy Lacy was a huge part of their offensive success. The former Alabama bruiser finished the game with 22 carries for 100 yards.
  • RB Todd Gurley – While it wasn’t one of Gurley’s breathtaking performances, the Georgia Bulldog still put up 66 yards rushing and a TD against a tough Baltimore defensive front.

DEFENSE

  • DT Geno Atkins – Atkins continues to be a force for the Bengals and one of the reasons Cincinnati is putting together an unforgettable season. The former Georgia standout had four tackles and a sack against the Cardinals on Sunday night.
  • NT Denico Autry – The former Mississippi State Bulldog has shined when given opportunities as a backup for Oakland. On Sunday, he recorded his second sack of the season.
