The SEC had a record-setting 2020 NFL Draft, as 63 former SEC players were drafted.

However, not everyone was drafted, and this year with the COVID-19 shutting down professional football for a while, it’s going to be tougher for the undrafted players to make an NFL roster. Minicamps will be shorter, and coaches won’t have as long to evaluate undrafted prospects. That’s just the new reality with the coronavirus currently.

The 2 biggest surprises who weren’t drafted were Auburn cornerback Javaris Davis and Ole Miss defensive tackle Benito Jones. The 2 seniors will likely sign free agent contracts following the NFL Draft.
