On Tuesday, Stadium announced that they had acquired three seasoned reporters that will bolster their sports coverage from every angle.

Shams Charania, Jeff Goodman and Brett McMurphy have been hired by the Chicago-based network, and each reporter boasts an impressive track record.

Charania, more likely known as @ShamsCharania on Twitter, is one of the most popular NBA reporters in the country. He has spent the previous three years at Yahoo! Sports writing columns and breaking news across the league.

Goodman spent the past five years a basketball Insider at ESPN, and also spent two years as the national college basketball writer at CBS Sports and held the same position from 2006-2011 at Fox Sports.

McMurphy, who has been in the news a lot over the past few weeks, joins Stadium after breaking arguably the biggest college football story of 2018. McMurphy obtained texts and images from Courtney Smith alleging abuse by her ex-husband Zach Smith, an assistant coach at Ohio State Head under Urban Meyer.

He spent the last five years at ESPN as a College Football Insider and has also previously worked for CBS Sports, AOL FanHouse and The Tampa Tribune. In 2010, he was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize in the breaking news category.

Goodman and McMurphy officially begin work today and will make appearances across Stadium’s various platforms. Charania will begin work on August 23rd and will also write for The Athletic.
