By now, we all know that Clemson QB Kelly Bryant is transferring after losing his starting job to freshman Trevor Lawrence.

Bryant hasn’t announced his transfer destination yet, but the Tigers will move forward with Lawrence at the helm.

On Saturday morning’s SportsCenter, Tim Tebow weighed in on the situation, saying he likes the way coach Dabo Swinney handled it, adding that he thinks Auburn could be a good fit for Bryant:

“I love the way Dabo Swinney handled this with Kelly Bryant,” he said. “Listen, they played four games. He realized that Trevor Lawrence was going to be the guy for the future; so, he didn’t waste a year for Kelly Bryant. He told him, and he let Kelly Bryant save the rest of this season and go somewhere like Auburn maybe next year where he’ll fit the system. So, it saved Bryant. Dabo Swinney will win on the next 10 years in recruiting, because all of the moms will say, ‘Hey, Dabo treated Kelly Bryant right. He’s going to treat my son right.'”

Indeed, Swinney seems to be getting praised for the way he handled the situation, and now Bryant saves a year of eligibility.

Will he end up at Auburn? We’ll have to wait and see.
