Former Vols QB Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos were trailing 13-12 when Manning’s ability to keep his head about him gave the Broncos the chance to pull away.

The drive ended with 1-yard touchdown run by RB C.J. Anderson and a successful 2-point conversion when Manning tossed it to WR Demaryius Thomas.

The 23-16 win over the Steelers puts Manning and the No. 1 seed Broncos in the AFC championship game against the New England Patriots.

This will be the fifth time Manning has faced former Michigan QB Tom Brady in the playoffs. The rivalry is tied at 2-2 in postseason play.
