LSU DT Breiden Fehoko has known Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa since they were kids and remembers Tagovailoa excelling as a sixth grader.

So it was understandable that the fellow Hawaiians shared an embrace after Alabama’s shutout of LSU Saturday night.

“You know we’re going to get your brother, right,” Fehoko said as Tagovailoa laughed, and Tagovailoa replied, “Hey, y’all gotta do what y’all gotta do.”

Tagovailoa’s younger brother, Taulia, an Alabama recruit was at the game as a recruit, and was seen with LSU coach Ed Orgeron. The 2019 quarterback has been committed to the Crimson Tide since April, but he is being heavily recruited by the Tigers.

Leading up to the game, Fehoko recalled seeing the older Tagovailoa at camps as a youngster win MVP awards as a sixth grader competing with high school players. He said he always knew Tagovailoa would be talented, and he comes from a great family and is on the right track.
