After being connected to many different programs in the end-of-the-season rumor mill, it is official that Coach Prime is the new head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes.

College football analyst Paul Finebaum recently weighed in on the move as Prime continues to climb the ladder after an incredible amount of success at Jackson State.

“I think it’s going to be a tough job to make Colorado into a contender,” Finebaum said in a recent appearance on ‘McElroy and Cubelic in the Morning’. “And I’m talking about a conference contender and a national championship contender. Now, can he get excitement? Yeah. I don’t know their schedule, but (College) GameDay will be there next year… That’s just Deion Sanders. He brings a lot with him.”

If there’s anyone with the ability to bring a small program to relevance, it’s Prime. He put Jackson State University on the map nationally, impressing as a recruiter and winning 26 of 31 games with back-to-back conference titles.
