Just in time for spring football on Rocky Top, the makeover of Neyland Stadium’s jumbotron is now complete.

Tennessee finally got around to removing the photo of Butch Jones from the jumbotron this month and replaced it with a photo of former all-time great linebacker Al Wilson. Now, the school has added a photo of Jason Witten to jumbotron. Reggie White was featured on the stadium before Witten’s photo went up.

Witten starred for the Vols from 2000-02 before leaving early for the NFL. He was selected in the third round by Dallas of the 2003 NFL Draft and has been a stable on the Cowboys’ roster ever since. The Tennessee native has been named to 11 Pro Bowls and set some impressive marks at the game’s highest level including the most catches by a tight end in an NFL season (110), most catches by a tight end in an NFL game (18), he’s caught the second most passes in NFL history by a tight end (Tony Gonzalez is first) and he’s played in 239 consecutive games.

If you plan on traveling to town for the upcoming Orange & White Game, here’s the new and improved Neyland Stadium jumbotron you’ll see. (Photo credit Mark Nagi on Twitter @MarkNagi)
