At publishing time, UT moneyline is priced at -155 as the favorite. It would take a $155 bet to win $100 on a Tennessee victory.
As an underdog, Creighton is priced at +130. A $100 bet on a Blue Jays victory would win $130.
Moneyline bets on the Vols to win are 68/32. The handle (amount of money in play for the book), is a tighter split of 59/41 UT.

Those looking to bet on Tennessee against the spread have to lay 3 points. At -3, UT is priced at -108. It would take a $108 bet on the Vols -3 to win $100.
Creighton is priced at -112 with 3 points. It would take a bet of $112 to win $100 on the Blue Jays with the points.
DraftKings’ splits again show that bettors like the Vols against the spread. In this instance, the handle split is wider than the bet split.

Bettors expect defense to be played
Tennessee has won both high-scoring and low-scoring battles throughout the 2023-24 campaign. Bettors expect the latter on Friday night.
DraftKings has set the current over/under for total points in the game at 144. Both the under and the over are priced at -110. It would take a $110 bet to win $100.

Tennessee entered the NCAA Tournament on a 2-game losing skid, dropping the regular-season finale to Kentucky 85-81 at home and then bounced from the SEC Tournament by Mississippi State 73-56.
Rick Barnes’ team has recovered in the Big Dance. UT cruised to an 83-49 victory over 15-seed Saint Peter’s in the First Round. The Vols then outlasted Texas for a hard-fought 62-58 victory in the Round of 32.
Creighton also went 0-1 in its conference tournament, losing in the Big East quarterfinals to Providence. In the NCAA Tournament, the Blue Jays defeated 14-seed Akron 77-60 in the First Round and needed 2 overtimes in the Round of 32 for an 86-73 win over 11-seed Oregon.
I wouldnt touch the spread bet on this game with a 20′ pole and the over/under is a coin flip. Both teams could put up 90 or 60 or anything in between. If I was forced to bet I would bet the over. Creighton shoots a ton of 3’s and so does UT. With plenty of rest and a lot on the line, after maybe a shaky first 5-10 minutes to calm the nerves, I could see both them teams shooting 35-40% from 3.
My prediction is the first to 83 wins!
