Vanderbilt will look to end a 3-game losing streak on Saturday against No. 23 Missouri, and the Commodores will be having to do it with a new starting quarterback.

Their normal starting quarterback is AJ Swann, who has been battling an elbow contusion injury. He is expected to be available to play in the game, but he has been limited in practice and isn’t quite 100%. However, on Saturday, it will be Ken Seals getting the start, according to Pete Thamel of ESPN, as he noted Seals has plenty of starting experience.

While most teams have backup quarterbacks who are very inexperienced, Seals has started 16 games during his time at Vanderbilt. He enters this game with 3,205 yards in his career, as well as 19 touchdowns and 18 interceptions.

The Commodores will be looking to pull the upset against No. 23 Missouri. The Tigers are leaving the state of Missouri for the first time this season, and like Vanderbilt, their starting quarterback has had to deal with some injuries.

Brady Cook was questionable for much of the week, but went through practices and is ready to get the start for the Tigers. He suffered a knee injury 2 weeks ago in the upset against then No. 15 Kansas State.

Kickoff between Vanderbilt and No. 23 Northwestern is at 4 pm ET., and the game will be shown on the SEC Network.
