National Signing Day is on Feb. 4 and the SEC is primed to bring in another impressive haul of top recruits in the 2015 recruiting class.

In the next 25 days, Saturday Down South counts down the top 25 recruits either committed to the SEC or strongly considering SEC schools.

No. 7 Kevin Toliver II

Position: Cornerback
247Sports ranking: No. 9 overall; No. 5 overall in Florida
Committed: Already enrolled at LSU

The skinny: The biggest thing LSU is getting in Kevin Toliver is an athlete. Toliver’s 6-2 frame oozes potential and playmaking ability. Perhaps he’s not as dominant a player as Patrick Peterson, but he has that untapped potential. Toliver played both quarterback and defensive back in high school, and he’s electric with the ball in his hands. One thing that stands out about Toliver is his ball skills and recovery speed.

Freshman projection: LSU puts defensive backs in the NFL every year. Patrick Peterson, Morris Claiborne and Tyrann Mathieu are three who come to mind. Toilver’s the No. 2 cornerback in the recruiting class, and LSU will sign two great ones in Toliver and Donte Jackson. Simply put: Toliver may be too good to keep off the field in 2015, and with LSU losing Rashard Robinson, there’s playing time available immediately.
