The Georgia’s 9-6 victory over Missouri on Saturday night wasn’t pretty, but it was good enough to boost the Bulldogs back into the top 25 in the Amway Coaches Poll released Sunday afternoon. Georgia did not make the top 25 in the Associated Press Poll.

The Bulldogs (5-2, 3-2 SEC) are ranked No. 25 in the coaches’ poll with 95 points, 68 points behind No. 24 Temple. Mississippi State is No. 26 with 38 points. Georgia moved up three spots from No. 28.

Georgia has a bye next weekend then travels to Jacksonville to play Florida (6-1, 4-1 SEC) in a game that could decide the East Division title. With a victory, Georgia and Florida would each have two conference losses, but the Bulldogs would own the head-to-head tiebreaker. Florida, which lost at LSU on Saturday, is No. 14 in the coaches’ rankings. The Gators, No. 13 in the AP rankings, also have a bye next weekend.

Ohio State retained the No. 1 spot in the coaches’  poll, followed by Baylor, Texas Christian, Michigan State and LSU. Other SEC teams in the coaches’ top 25 include No. 8 Alabama, No. 16 Texas A&M and No. 23 Ole Miss.
