While the championship hardware has largely stayed on a few campuses across the SEC in the past decade, the NFL Draft picks have been spread more evenly.

First-round picks, though, have largely come from Tuscaloosa and Gainesville. But LSU, despite not having a player taken in the first or second round last year, remains on top in the SEC with 62 draft picks in the past decade (2007-2016 drafts).

The Tigers have been remarkably consistent throughout, though the early part of the decade was heavier, they’ve averaged about seven players per year. (The past two drafts saw five and four players, respectively.)

Alabama, with a combined 14 picks the past two drafts, leapfrogged Georgia, which was annually among the top producers of consistent NFL talent.

Though there’s no denying the wide gap the top four teams have in total draft picks: LSU, Alabama, Georgia and Florida all have at least 52 draft picks, and the next closest program, Arkansas, has 37.

Every SEC program has produced at least one first-round draft pick during this span. Texas A&M (8 overall) and Missouri (7) each produced multiple first-rounders as members of the SEC.

Here is a breakdown of draft picks by school from 2007-2016, according to pro-football-reference.com’s database:
