The pre-draft process has begun for the 2018 NFL Draft and while mock drafts and prospect power rankings are sure to emerge from every corner of the Internet, one of the more respected draft evaluators has just released his list of top 50 prospects for the upcoming draft.

NFL.com has just posted Daniel Jeremiah’s draft board ranking the best overall talent available for the upcoming selection process. His top five consists of Penn State RB Saquon Barkley, Notre Dame OG Quenton Nelson, Virginia Tech LB Tremaine Edmunds, N.C. State DE Bradley Chubb and Alabama’s Minkah Fitzpatrick.

The star Crimson Tide defender was the first but certainly not the last SEC performer to be featured on the list. Alabama features five players on the list, Georgia has four players mentioned, LSU three, while Auburn, Florida, Texas A&M, Mississippi State and South Carolina all have one.
