The latest AP Poll was released Monday, and only two SEC teams are listed among the updated rankings.

Texas A&M fell out of the poll this week after ranking as the No. 21 team last week. The SEC may have the deepest league this year, but it appears the conference may have a lack of elite contenders as the regular season is coming to an end.

Here’s how the AP ranked the SEC this week in the poll:

#12 – Auburn (23-4); #10 last week

#19 – Tennessee (19-7); #18 last week

The rest of the poll:

#1 Virginia, #2 Michigan State, #3 Villanova, #4 Xavier, #5 Duke, #6-tie Gonzaga, #6-tie Texas Tech, #8 Kansas, #9 Purdue, #10 North Carolina, #11 Cincinnati, #13 Wichita State, #14 Arizona, #15 Clemson, #16 Ohio State, #17 Michigan, #18 Rhode Island, #20 Nevada, #21 West Virginia, #22 Saint Mary’s, #23 Houston, #24 Middle Tennessee, #25 Florida State.
