SEC speed is something that gets talked about a lot, but it’s a phrase for a reason, and it showed in Indianapolis this week.

Of everyone who ran in the 40-yard dash event, the SEC had some of the fastest times, and LSU DB Donte Jackson tied for the fastest time of the entire combine by completing it in 4.32 seconds.

His teammate, D.J. Chark, finished just behind the three leaders, turning in a time of 4.34 seconds. Below is a list of the SEC’s top-10 performers in the event (full results here):

  • Donte Jackson, DB, LSU: 4.32
