Week 7 of the 2018 season has come and gone – and done a number on the college football landscape. As we turned the half-way point, Saturday brought chaos to the polls. Georgia, West Virginia, Washington and Penn State all lost, shaking up the College Football Playoff picture as well as many division and conference races.

On Sunday morning, SB Nation’s Bill Connelly updated his S&P+ ratings. No surprise – Alabama remains No. 1. The Crimson Tide was one of the lucky few highly rated teams to win on Saturday, knocking off Mizzou 39-10.

Below, you can see where the other 13 SEC teams stack up in the national picture:

  • No. 1 – Alabama
  • No. 6 – Georgia
  • No. 13 – Florida
  • No. 14 – LSU
  • No. 15 – Mississippi State
  • No. 18 – Texas A&M
  • No. 22 – Kentucky
  • No. 23 – Auburn
  • No. 37 – Missouri
  • No. 38 – Ole Miss
  • No. 54 – South Carolina
  • No. 67 – Tennessee
  • No. 72 – Arkansas

We’ll see if the current trends for a few SEC teams continue to play out after Week 8.
