The SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament was held in St. Louis in 2018, but it appears the days of moving the tourney from Nashville are coming to an end.

With the exception of 2022, when Tampa will host the tournament, it will be held in Nashville every year until 2035.

The Tennessean reports that the SEC will announce a contract extension with the Nashville Sports Council soon:

The SEC men’s or women’s basketball tournament will be played in Nashville beginning this season through 2035, The Tennessean has learned.

A contract, which currently has the men’s or women’s tournament playing at Bridgestone Arena through 2025, will be extended by 10 years, according to a source close to the Nashville Sports Council.

Nashville is a popular place for the tournament, and it’ll be there for a long time to come based on this latest report.
