Report: FBS player dies in hospital after collapsing during workout
Tragedy has struck the Cal football family, as a young defender passed away after a workout near his family home.
On Friday, CB Bryce Turner was taken to a hospital with what was called a “medical emergency.”
On Saturday evening, CalGoldenBlogs.com reported that Turner had passed away in the hospital:
After a “medical emergency” on Thursday, Bryce Turner has passed away. Turner is from Lakewood, graduated from St. John Bosco, and spent a year at Long Beach City College; at Cal, he played cornerback and intended to major in film. He was 19 years old.
