After being fired by Texas Tech following the 2018 season, Kliff Kingsbury was hired by USC as the Trojans’ new offensive coordinator.

However, once the NFL coaching carousel started, Kingsbury started drawing interest from a number of teams, but USC didn’t want him to interview.

Therefore, he may or may not have resigned his position at USC, and now he’ll be leaving anyway, as he’s reportedly landed the head coaching job for the Arizona Cardinals:

Kingsbury will have a young quarterback in Josh Rosen to work with at his new position, but the Cardinals were a mess this year, earning themselves the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

It’ll be interesting to see what new weapon Kingsbury gets to work with next fall, but expect the Cardinals’ offense to improve in 2019.
