This offseason, we’ve seen a number of big-name quarterbacks enter the NCAA Transfer Portal and end up with new squads.

Now, yet another former starter will try to find a new home for his remaining years of eligibility, and this one hails from the ACC.

As you can see below, Virginia Tech sophomore Josh Jackson announced that he would be transferring elsewhere for the 2019 season and beyond:

Jackson was the Hokies’ starter in 2017, throwing for 2,991 yards, 20 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He added six scores as a rusher. He lost his starting job this year to Kansas transfer Ryan Willis.

Where he ends up next is unclear, but with plenty of schools looking for talent at the quarterback position, Jackson is sure to have plenty of interest.
