There’s only one week remaining in the college baseball regular season, and many SEC teams are currently vying for top national spots entering the postseason.

On Monday, the updated USA TODAY baseball poll came out, and eight SEC squads found themselves listed in the top-25.

As you can see below, Vanderbilt held onto the No. 2 spot, with Mississippi State moving up into the top-five after being at No. 6 last week:

  • No. 2 — Vanderbilt
  • No. 4 — Arkansas
  • No. 5 — Mississippi State
  • No. 7 — Georgia
  • No. 16 — Ole Miss
  • No. 19 — Texas A&M
  • No. 20 — LSU
  • No. 23 — Mizzou

Tennessee, which had been No. 24 last week, dropped out of the rankings despite winning two of three games at Florida this weekend.

This will be an important week, especially in the SEC standings, as teams will try to vie for position in the upcoming SEC Tournament.
