Arik Gilbert has his choice of attending just about any college. While that may be the case, the coveted Georgia prospect recently narrowed his options down to 10 programs.

The Marietta, Ga., native is listed as a top 10 prospect in the country and the No. 1 athlete according to 247Sports Composite Rankings in the 2020 recruiting cycle. The No. 2 prospect from the Peach State has long been considered a Georgia lean but the Bulldogs weren’t the only SEC programs to make Gilbert’s top 10 as Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Tennessee and Texas A&M made the list. Outside of the SEC, Clemson, Oklahoma, Penn State and USC also made his list.

For what it’s worth, his high school quarterback is four-star Harrison Bailey, who is committed to Tennessee.

The 6-foot-5, 245-pound prospect has caught 142 passes for 1,780 yards and 21 touchdowns for Marietta High School during his sophomore and junior seasons. He also plays defense for Marietta, racking up 126 tackles and 12 sacks during that time.
