UTEP senior QB Kai Locksley was arrested on Friday night, and the starting quarterback now faces some very serious charges.

Locksley is the son of former Alabama OC (and current Maryland head coach) Mike Locksley, and he is facing four charges stemming from a traffic stop on Friday night.

Per KROD.com, Locksley faces a DWI charge, in addition to a marijuana charge, unlawful possession of a weapon and making a terroristic threat:

El Paso County case records indicate that Miners senior quarterback Kai Locksley was arrested last night and charged with four crimes: “unlawful carrying of a weapon, possession of marijuana, terroristic threat and driving while intoxicated.”

UTEP has yet to release a statement on the arrest, but clearly, this isn’t a good look for Locksley.

Locksley was expected to be the Miners’ starter this fall after making nine starts in 2018, but that is obviously in jeopardy now.
