The calendar is about to flip to July, ending a month of June that saw a number of big-name 2020 recruits commit to SEC schools.

There was a lot of movement in the rankings due to those commitments, so it’s a good time to look at where each team’s current 2020 class stands in the national picture.

As you can see below, the SEC has four of the current top-10 classes nationally, led by Alabama at No. 2 overall (all rankings via the 247Sports composite):

  • Alabama — No. 1 SEC, No. 2 nationally
  • LSU — No. 2 SEC, No. 3 nationally
  • Georgia — No. 3 SEC, No. 5 nationally
  • Florida — No. 4 SEC, No. 8 nationally
  • Texas A&M — No. 5 SEC, No. 11 nationally
  • South Carolina — No. 6 SEC, No. 14 nationally
  • Ole Miss — No. 7 SEC, No. 16 nationally
  • Mississippi State — No. 8 SEC, No. 18 nationally
  • Tennessee — No. 9 SEC, No. 20 nationally
  • Auburn — No. 10 SEC, No. 23 nationally
  • Kentucky — No. 11 SEC, No. 30 nationally
  • Mizzou — No. 12 SEC, No. 39 nationally
  • Arkansas — No. 13 SEC, No. 43 nationally
  • Vanderbilt — No. 14 SEC, No. 47 nationally

Many other big-name recruits are likely to commit in July, so we’ll see how things play out over the next 31 days.
