The latest projections from The Power Rank have been posted and it looks like we are in for a great weekend of action in the SEC.

If you are unfamiliar with this system, it is the brainchild of Ed Feng’s analytics system, known better as The Power Rank. Feng’s metrics used have accurately predicted the winners of college football games from the 2015 season to the 2017 season 73.7 percent of the time — with an overall record of 1679-598. That number is even more impressive when you factor in that The Power Rank does not pick FBS games against FCS competition.

The Power Rank went 5-1 predicting the Week 3 games involving SEC teams after going 9-1 in Week 2.

Here is how The Power Rank predicts the Week 4 action to play out in the SEC:

  • Georgia is projected to beat Notre Dame by 2.3 points in Athens. The Bulldogs have a 57 percent chance of winning this matchup.
  • Auburn is projected to beat Texas A&M by 1.1 points in College Station. The Aggies have a 47 percent chance of winning this matchup.
