Paul Finebaum updates top 6 teams after Week 12
Week 12 is now in the books, and it was a weekend that will have wide-ranging effects on the college football season.
Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa is now out for the season, affecting the Tide’s standing among the nation’s truly elite squads.
On Sunday morning, SEC Network host Paul Finebaum updated his top 6 teams. He has LSU at No. 1, Georgia at No. 4 and Alabama down at No. 6:

It will be interesting to see what the College Football Playoff committee decides to do with the Tide in the wake of the news that Tagovailoa is out for the year.
Finebaum has them at No. 6 for now. We’ll find out on Tuesday what the CFP committee thinks.
